POLE VAULT CLINIC
The coaching staff of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Track and Field team will be hosting a one-day pole vault clinic at Kolf Sports Center in Oshkosh, WI.
Items covered will include pole vault specific drills, gymnastics drills, sand drills, short approach drills, and runway / pole carry drills. There will be an optional video analysis session during lunch for coaches and athletes. The camp will conclude with long approach vaulting.
The Titan Pole Vault Clinic provides an excellent opportunity for junior high, high school, college vaulters, post-collegiate vaulters and coaches to increase the technical skills in all of the pole vault. The Titan Vault Clinic has the top talent in coaches and athletes presenting their knowledge to further develop the skills necessary to become a successful vaulter and coach.
LOCATION: Kolf Sports Center, 785 High Ave, Oshkosh, WI
CAMP SCHEDULE: The clinic will introduce the athlete to classroom instruction / video analysis of vault as well as hands-on demonstration and drills that can be used to further the athlete’s development in the vault.
WHAT TO BRING: All participants should bring workout clothes and shoe. Vault spikes are optional. Please bring your own pole vault poles!! UW-Oshkosh will provide a limited amount of poles.
NOTE: All camp attendee’s are responsible for their own lunch and dinner. There are a number of restaurants located near the Oshkosh Sports Complex. Camp attendees will also be responsible for housing if they choose to stay overnight.
